The Month of Megan (aka October)

I know that it is a little late but I still wanted to post about my birthday, just because it was so much fun. I love celebrating my birthday. It is the perfect excuse to go out and do something fun to celebrate! Several years ago I decided that one day was simply not enough time to properly celebrate and that the whole month should be used to find fun things to do. I view anything and everything fun or good that happens during the month as a celebration of my birthday. This year Dave and I started the celebrations out with a day trip out to Oak Glen. It is apple season out there during October so we got to go to some of the different apple farms and all of the cute little shops! Some of the Apple farms even let you go out and pick your own apples. It was so much fun!











Five pound apple pies at Apple Annies Bakery. These were monster pies! Even when you order just one slice (like we did, with ice cream of course)there is still more then enough for two! So delicious!

The celebrations continued on the Saturday before my birthday when Dave took me out to Color Me Mine! I have always wanted to go there!!! It was so much fun and even Dave got into painting his ceramic frame. Afterwards we went over to the Grove (one of my favorite places in LA) for a yummy dinner!!!







On my Birthday we went down to my grandparents house for my birthday party with my side of the family. It was so much fun!



A few weeks later we went out to Thousand Oaks and celebrated with Dave's side of the Family with a delicious dinner out! I don't have any pictures of this (shocking, I know!)but it was so nice to get together with them and we all had a really good time!

In total it was another fantastic Month of Megan! There is nothing as wonderful as celebrations and adventures with the people you love to really make your birthday special!
